Garage No Sale

Valley Evengelical Free Church

The Brighter Day Group regularly works on crafting furniture for the Valley Church Garage No Sale (GNS). At this annual event, invitations are given to needy families and individuals living in the Des Moines Metropolitan area. In 2006, The Brighter Day Group made two dining room sets and two bunk bed sets. 2007 resulted in bunk beds being distributed to needy families. The Brighter Day Group looks forward to the rich rewards of giving at every GNS event.

The Brighter Day Group is always looking for moderate to highly talented wood workers to become involved in serving the community. If you have a wood working shop or just a few tools, you are invited to participate.

The Brighter Day Group supplies wood working plans and materials for each volunteer. Eventually, groups work together to assemble and finish the hand crafted pieces of furniture. Please contact us if you would like to be apart of our organization.
